Doug’s work is followed by renowned educator and thinker <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Downes" target="_blank">Stephen Downes</a>, who is widely credited with the first Connectivist Massive Open Online Course (e.g. very much what we did with TeachTheWeb MOOC).
