In Webmaker we have a number of people learning Git and GitHub for the first time. Turns out they're hard, and it's easy to get frustrated and give up. At the same time, there are a number of us who know them well, and could provide support.<br>

The usual thing that happens is that people start recommending various docs or tutorials on the web, or try to write their own. I have no interest in doing more of this, as there are literally thousands already.<br>
<br>
Instead, I'm going to facilitate a weekly club on Vidyo where people can drop-in and come talk about git and github, ask questions, see people do things, and generally have a safe forum to ask any and all questions.<br>

There is no obligation to come every week. I've put the details in this etherpad:<br>

There's a lot of hype about Git and GitHub and how great they are. It's all true :) But getting to the point where you don't feel like a total idiot using them can take time. Let's put some time into it together.<br>
