Thanks, but as has been mentioned above, subscribing (creating an
account) is not desirable. There is no good reason to require an
account if the purpose is the dissemination of information in a
manner the end user finds comfortable (here, meaning not via a
cartoonish web page with first and third party scripts etc. -- and
discourse is worse in those regards but at least has a feed
alternative).
