Personally I consider Discourse to be unusable because you can't
make it send mails to you for only certain subtopics(for example,
only Thunderbird->Add-ons). I had participated on Discourse for a
while but got so frustrated by these email issues (and also,
admittedly, some login issues because Mozilla SSO is terrible) that
I stopped reading or using it entirely.<br>

Also, I actually think having Thunderbird lists on a separate domain
is a good thing not a bad thing. Thunderbird-specific lists are
small in number and tend to get lost in long lists of Mozilla
mailing/forum lists on so many random topics.<br>
