I guess you're right about the fine line. Perhaps others could suggest
better wording. The idea is that after I've seen you ad (or whatever)
once, I don't want it to keep showing up if I just use the extension's
functionality, without trying to do things that require the premium version.
The even less concrete principle - which might be worth spelling out in
the guidelines - is "Don't be annoying".
