Yes, Firefox has very good advanced gestures support. For spellcheck I
don't know. But I think a spellchecker is more usefull in an email app
than in a browser.

<p>I thought Thunderdbird is using the standard Mozilla-based spell
checker? Version-specific Language packs for Thunderbird / Mac
version 52.1.1 can be downloaded here:</p>
