<p>This is a jolly good question. I went to a German "Maker Fair"
the other day to represent Thunderbird. There was a guy who was
very enthusiastic about TB, but he didn't want to donate via
these two methods.</p>
<p>In Germany we use a bank transfer. I was told to get into
contact with a Moritz Bartl of the "Renewable Freedom
Foundation" (<a moz-do-not-send="true"
class="moz-txt-link-freetext"
href="https://renewablefreedom.org/contact/">https://renewablefreedom.org/contact/</a>)
to discuss how they could assist TB in accepting donations the
German way ;-)</p>

As per <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://wiki.mozilla.org/Ways_to_Give">https://wiki.mozilla.org/Ways_to_Give</a> I assume there are more
ways to give. Per <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://wiki.mozilla.org/Donate">https://wiki.mozilla.org/Donate</a> it says "
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
such as by check, Bitcoin, or bank transfer". Surely it is not as
comfortable as paypal, but then again, it is also not paypal :-)<br>
