trying to <i>read all mail headers </i>using a (sadly
synchronous) stream can stop Thunderbird for half and hour; there
is no chance to stop this operation after the first 4k characters
because it seems to try and read the whole file and fails
magnificently. So I would be very interested in a fix. All
attempts to rewrite our Add-on to make this asynchronous
unfortunately didn't work out. <br>
