is still very much there. I've just reproduced it some seconds
ago.</tt><code> And it's very annoying. One is typing e-mail,
inserting something, moving the cursor to a different part of the
message, returning to the end to continue typing and, hey, the
format has changed.<br>

I experience the problem every day, I never dared to complain
since the wrong formatting can be manually corrected.<br>

Bug 250539 has been there since 2004 and bug <a

(which is the continuation) has been there since 2012 ... without
solution.<br>

Glancing at bug 250539 one can see that users offered money to get
the bug fixed. So perhaps it would be a good idea to introduce
some model whereby financial contributors could determine which
problems will get fixed.<br>

I quite like the approach of Krita (a program that was part of
KDE's KOffice/Calligra suite). They raised money to implement new
features:<br>
