    I think as long as the statistics are calculated according to user
    adoption <b><i>per application</i></b>, it is "kind of" fair to
    have them there - of course they have a much bigger chance of
    advertisement (and so, an unfair advantage) through their already
    existing Fx user base. However, it would be nice to have these
    "Browsing" related Addons in Thunderbird in a separate Category.
    Which reminds me, what about my suggestions on the new

Also, TB seems to have full browsing capability (just no address bar, but surely some extension exposes it). So blocking ads/malware is relevant to TB too, albeit it may be used by much less users.
Spam and remote images in messages are a completely different topic.

FlashBlock) but it is a download manager (which is quite useless in
