It depends what you mean by "the management" being sorted out.
Mozilla's community governance system is the module ownership
system; bienvenu and standard8 are the current Thunderbird module
owners. If they want to change that, they can. But I've not seen
concrete alternative governance arrangements proposed.

Such proposals were discouraged, (or put on hold) as the Thunderbird
community has to "prove" that it can sustain Thunderbird on its own
first - at least that is my reading of the situation.<br>
