This addon is GPL which cannot be merged into core.<br>

In general, there are a number of issues involved in deciding to
incorporate addons. Ideally we are friendly to both power users as
well as basic users. The great thing about addons is they fill the
needs of power users, without complicating the UI and confusing
basic users. So the bar is pretty high IMHO before you would
incorporate an addon.<br>
