Just to acknowledge I've seen this - I'm not actually the one
adding these at the moment, but I'm talking to the guys who I
believe do do it. I note that the same additions were done for
Firefox (see <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/pages/appversions/">this
page</a> if you haven't already), so I suspect it was either a
mistake or intentional. I'll get back to you when I know the

This was indeed a mistake. There was also a comment about automating
the additions so hopefully it won't happen again in future.<br>
