<u>Executive summary:</u> In order to boost overall gloda
performance and reactivity, and given that the places team has been
using even more aggressive numbers, we've decided to bump the gloda
page size and the cache size. The expected benefits are detailed at
<a class="moz-txt-link-rfc2396E" href="https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Thunderbird/gloda#SQLite_Page.2fCache_Sizes"><https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Thunderbird/gloda#SQLite_Page.2fCache_Sizes></a>;
this is controlled by a pref that is also mentioned on the wiki
page.<br>

I intend to land a big series of gloda patches all at the same time
in order to minimize inconvenience for trunk users: since these
patches require a schema bump (which means gloda will self-destruct
its entire database and recreate a new one, in turn re-indexing your
entire Thunderbird), I'd rather land them all at the same time
rather than have everyone on trunk see their database being
recreated every week.<br>
