Not really a prob in CKEditor, maybe just the core it uses.<br>

Some folks are developing along these lines also (HTML vs. XUL)<br>
You might want to take a look at <a
href="http://totalmessage.mozdev.org/">TotalMessage</a> , while
not a full blown App, it uses no XUL AFAICT<br>
