Beta add-on support on ATN - asking for a reminder

(Replying to the list only regarding betas on ATN)

Is ATN's code base the same as AMO, i.e. this:

, or has it been forked? Because if it hasn't I want to file an issue 
there about beta support (and ask for supporting comments for it.)

Also, why did they remove the beta feature? Did they rewrite the thing 
from scratch and didn't add it back, or did they want to actually stop 
having it for some reason?
