There is an approach to put the S/MIME cert into a DNS record secured by
DNSSEC which I think solves the trust issue. There is/was even an addon
I use S/MIME and I would be sad if it got removed from Thunderbird.
Why do we always have that discussion to remove stuff from thunderbird?
S/MIME is a standard, isn't it?
