Maybe the folder isn't set to be indexed? Right-click on the folder and
select "Folder Properties" and ensure "Include messages in this folder
in Global Search results" is checked?

Also, I've found :rkent's
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/glodaquilla-search-indexing-en/
add-on to be invaluable when dealing with gloda-related things.
Specifically, the column for the gloda id tells you whether the messages
have been indexed. The dirty column should also make it obvious if
gloda wants to index a message but just is never getting to it. You'll
need to bypass addon compatibility checking or something like that to
get it to install.

Having said that, it's conceivable something is breaking the gloda
indexer entirely. A message in a folder somewhere, something like that.
 See
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Thunderbird/Gloda_debugging
for preferences you can enable to have gloda log what it's doing. The
"Activity Manager" may also be able to convey if gloda died in the
process of doing something.
