Thunderbird 45.1 beta 1 - please test

Worth noting - for some reason in 45, users are reporting an 
extraordinary number of problems resolved by simply running once in safe 
mode, or disabling+reenabling an addon.  More than normal for a new 
release IMO.

Someone know from personal experience exactly why?
(no random theories please)
