This is indeed a blocker.
The cause of the problem is that M-C dropped the support for "mailto:"
URLs from the permission manager.
We need to find someone in Thunderbird who can work on this a.s.a.p.
I've tried Earlybird 42 and it's pretty much unusable when messages have
remote content (embedded images).
