Required reading for TB-Core members IMO

I read the first bug and also had multiple users complain about bus related
to fonts behavior in composer. Compared to Outlook this is where
Thunderbird is truly lacking.

In my opinion composer is the glaringly weakest point for the ordinary
user. If we raise any money with the fund raiser couldn't we hire a
developer to plumb in a new, extensible Html editor?

I think there was work on this under way (was it Jcranmer?) Could this be
finished quickly by hiring somebody?
