Regressions in TB 31.x and 33

Hello,

I've recently changed from TB 24.x to TB 31.x and immediately noticed
the following very annoying regressions:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1042561 - red addresses
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1043310 -
addressauto-completion broken
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1073936 - spelling not updated
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1069419 - userChrome.css
not honoured

Since I write e-mail in four languages, bug 1073936 is a real
show-stopper for me. I therefore moved to TB 33 beta, where bug 1073936
no longer occurs.

Instead, I noticed these two additional bugs only in TB 33:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1085677 - preview display
of images not working
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1082896 - New mail
notification shows garbled sender name

To my eye the quality of TB is deteriorating, since all of these bugs
show up in simple day-to-day usage when messages are received, answered
or filed into folders.

Sadly, none of these bugs show any significant activity. Two years ago
Mozilla announced that TB would not receive any more active development
of new features. I think that's fine as long as the already working
features are maintained in a working state. These six regressions show,
that his is sadly not the case.

Kind regards from Berlin, Germany,
