It's a proposal to create an easily-retrofitted set of attributes on the HTML5 password input field. It doesn't duplicate the credential management API work, but addresses a different audience.<br>

I'd like to put this proposal to the WHAT-WG at some point. Ryan suggested I bounce it off this list before taking it further.<br>
