<div dir="ltr"><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr"><div><div><div><div>Hi all, <br><br></div>Following the kickoff of the Privacy and Security team, with most team members  shifting to focus on the near-term objectives of shipping Tracking Protection and the related update to Private Browsing Mode - Part Deux!, I cancelled the planning meeting for Password Manager. <br><br></div>That said, we're really close to being able to say we've got the best password handling of any browser out there, and with Dave Camp's support we've agreed to continue to finish existing Ux and recipe/heuristics changes that have already been specified and broken down, with Bernardo and an additional intern (who worked on Chrome's PM last summer!) coming on board this week under the supervision of Matthew Noorenberghe. We'll have weekly standups that will be run by Matt and Edwin. <br><br></div>Javaun and I have agreed that logins might be an important part of our move to make a more personal and private browser, and be done in the Privacy team or alongside it. The bolder directions for logins we previously, including a vault on FF Mobile and tighter integration with the native keychains, will have to wait for getting TPS and PBM 2.0 launched and future prioritization. But we're going to make logins in the FF experience great, sooner or later. Until, then, we're in the Danger Zone (see attached). <br></div><br>Bill <br></div>
