Got the below request in an email this week. Sounds like we can do
this easily with Firefox Accounts (the user logs out of Firefox
Accounts but doesn't shut down their browser). Can we do it with
Master Password too?<br>

<pre wrap="">BTW, it would be great if the Password Manager could be optionally
logged out of without closing the browser, with options for logout
triggers such as time duration and the computer going into suspend. A
parent, say, may wish to check their email, log out of that but keep
their browser open without their kids having access to every secure
site they visit. Plus, if a laptop gets stolen the thief could have a
very light password to crack on the machine itself – apparently many
thefts are now specifically for getting data.</pre>
