<div dir="ltr">Oh, my hardware chose an excellent time to take a crap on me.  I got a bounce message, so I figured I hadn't actually posted anything.  But yeah, I had to do a power down, wait, reboot (not a restart, which didn't work either) to get my keyboard to actually get it working like it should.  It's working fine, then I restart Firefox/Nightly, they keyboard is absolutely fluxored.  And it's only when I try something later that I realize, my hardware/OS/device drive/who knows! is at fault, not software.  I've never seen this behavior on this keyboard before, and I've used them for years, and multiple ones, at that.  MS 4000 keyboard.  Unplugging and replugging the keyboard didn't fix it, the restart didn't fix it, on only shutting down the computer, turning off the electricity to everything, computer, displays, and rebooting from a cold state was I able to get my keyboard working again.  I've never seen any other keyboard ever exhibit this kind of behavior, either, and I'm afraid I've been typing on computer keyboards for longer than most of you have been alive, TTY 33 in 1976, TRS-80 Model I keyboard, etc, etc.  I'm embarrassed and flumoxed, and I'm sorry about this.  Can I pull more hair out of my head???  It's not like one of my cats walked over the keyboard to make it do something funky, either.  That simply takes a unplug, replug to get the keyboard out of whatever the issue is.<br><br></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Tue, Jan 24, 2017 at 4:52 AM, Michal Stanke <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:mstanke@mozilla.cz" target="_blank">mstanke@mozilla.cz</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="auto"><div>Hi Bryan.<div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">To make sure I investigate this issue properly before reporting to Bugzilla, have you seen this issue any time before the latest Nightly build? What platfom do you run on and in what locale is your Nightly and dystem set up?</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">I will be able look at this in about 6 hours from now. In the meantime you may try to verify this is an issue in the latest build only using Mozregression, if you now this tool. If not, do not worry.<br><br><div data-smartmail="gmail_signature" dir="auto">--<br>Michal Stanke</div></div><br><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">Dne 24. 1. 2017 3:59 napsal uživatel "Bryan Price" <<a href="mailto:bytehead@gmail.com" target="_blank">bytehead@gmail.com</a>>:<br type="attribution"><blockquote class="m_-6851806531572588853quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr"><div><div>I installed the update late this afternoon. I just went to the URL bar to enter a keyword search, and I made a big booboo. Trying to backspace back more than one character just didn't work. I can't backarrow more than once.Hitting two characters together (even in this Gmail compose window) only gives me one character.  Now, if I hit backspace, back arrow, delete, backspace, back arrow, delete, I can eventualy get to where I want. And one backspace is usualy enough for me to fix things. But the lack of double characters, is a problem. Luckily, I did al my heavy keyboarding on Facebok earlier, because it's also problematic there as wel.<br><br></div>And al from today's update. And I am curently IN safemode. so it's not an extension problem.<br><br></div>And I'm prety much done here.<br><br></div>
