<p>If you have constructive feedback about this change then I
suggest you add it to the bug report. Many of the folks on that
bug are not following the Nightly Testers mailing list and so your
feedback here will go unnoticed. I strongly suggest adding your
feedback to the bug but please try to refrain from ranting. If you
can articulate your use case and the value you get from this
feature without ranting that may go a long way to developers being
open to improve this change.<br>

there existed a "Check to see if your plugins are up to date" <br>

Likewise, if you visited the "Troubleshooting Information" <br>
page (<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="about:support">about:support</a>) and clicked on the <a class="moz-txt-link-rfc2396E" href="about:plugins">"about:plugins"</a> link, <br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="about:support">about:support</a> => <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="about:plugins">about:plugins</a><br>
there was a <br>
"Find updates for installed plugins at mozilla.com/plugincheck"

option at the top of the page...<br>

the devs are shooting themselves in the foot once more! <br>
It's not a big secret Firefox is losing marketshare, <br>
but in their strive to win new users, Mozilla <br>
will continue to lose current faithfuls! <br>

I believe it was, but very disappointed now <br>
with the way it's heading... <br>
