Unfortunately your suggestions did not resolve the problem. I have taken<br>
a screen shot of the settings in About:config which are here-<br>

and they all meet your suggestions but the item in Security still<br>
remains greyed out.<br>

I would be grateful if you could give me (probably once again after all<br>
these years) the place where I should pursue this problem seeing as how<br>
you agree that this mail list is not the proper place for my question.<br>
(I Just hope that you don't say that the right place is some forum where<br>
half the people are trying to outguess what the answer should be to the<br>
answers given by the other half of the guessers who think what the<br>
