<div><div>Hi John</div><div><br></div><div>I understand your angst at not being able to download a pre-compiled binary for Vista x64 or a Vista prebuilt image itself. However, please note that the public binaries, even for betas and nightlies, must be manually compiled by someone so that they are available in the repositories. As the developers already have their hands full, they decide to retire OS versions that are no longer supported by their publishers (such as Vista and WinXP). Rest assured, the binaries available on the mozilla nightly trunk should still install easily and without issue on any version of windows (as long as you are not trying to install and x64 build on a 32 bit OS). </div><div><br></div><div>Hope this resolves your query. No one can or will stop you from experimenting with the latest nightlies on any OS but Mozilla supports a limited number of OS versions in order to maintain some sanity. </div><div><br></div><div>Also, I request you to please follow the decorum of the forum and avoid using profanities.
