I see that the latest update turns on e10s automatically. No asking, it<br>
just does it. And so, I was left with two tabs showing a large icon of a<br>
spinning wheel, and my plugin container crashing. :( And then, finally, a<br>
message telling me that my tab had crashed. All of them. I thought I<br>
could control that with an about:config change, but no, it was in Options<br>
that I needed to reset. At least when I started with my clean profile, it<br>
told me what it had done. Didn't get the message on my usual profile.<br>

I guess I'm going to have to spend the time to figure out which<br>
extension(s) is causing the problem. Not what I had in mind this weekend.<br>

E10s is a major feature focus. They need all hands to test. So they turn<br>
it on automatically for anyone using Nightly on first run. They also<br>
occasionally force it on with an update if Telemetry says the numbers<br>
went too low and or to make sure people remember that it exists and<br>
needs poking at.<br>

You can turn it off again in the Options. But it may turn back on after<br>
a few updates if its forced again.<br>

Well, I will then turn it off again, if that is the case. I found that my<br>
use of NoScript was one (and probably no doubt, there are more) of the<br>
extensions causing hell with e10s. I have filed some information on the<br>
crashes that I get, so maybe that will help somebody. I have also filed a<br>
bug report on NoScript for e10s.<br>
