Currently the plugin container keeps playing the file although the
firefox widow is closed.
This does not happen if I close the tab before main window.
I must "end process" from task manager for Plugin container.
However, I'm a bit confused by multiple tabs not showing up as
separate processes in Task Manager as Chrome tabs do. I'm not
saying that Firefox should behave exactly as Chrome does*;
rather I'm trying to understand just how multiprocess Firefox
appears to the (Windows) OS. While most dialogue on the
mailing list alludes to per-tab processes, the actual wiki
speaks of separate process for chrome and content only. This
leads me to believe that regardless of tabs, you'll always
have only 2 processes: 1 for chrome and 1 for all in-tab
content. Am I correct in this conclusion, or am I missing
something?

Also, where does this leave the plugin container process?
Will it still be separate from the aforementioned 2 processes,
or has it been folded into one of them?
Yes, note that we want people to test it because we want
to make e10s a prime and default feature in the next
months if possible, so it needs a lot of testing even if
we know it also still needs quite a bit of work. It's
also interesting to know which add-ons need work and
which ones do not and are fine with e10s.
Note that e10s will probably reduce some of the
immediate needs some people have for the 64bit version
(virtual memory pressure per process is smaller when
there are multiple processes), it should make the
Firefox UI much more responsive (as things going on in
web pages is not blocking what the UI does) and it is
the first step for security sandboxing, which we will
want in the future as well. For those reasons, we are
pushing quite a bit to get this enabled and want to
learn all things we still need to fix before we can do
that by default.
