<html><body><div style="color:#000; background-color:#fff; font-family:HelveticaNeue, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida Grande, sans-serif;font-size:12pt"><div>Okay, the new animation icon is a joke, right?</div><div>The old one, with the anti-clockwise grey rotation ring before the responses arrived, changing to a green clockwise rotating ring while the responses are being received, was fine.</div><div>The "newer" one, with two concentric rings rotating at different rates, was a bit confusing, but from some comments I read, it sounds like it actually may have been trying to give us more information about the page loading.</div><div>Today's version of Nightly, 32.0a1 (2014-05-25) on Windows Vista Home Premium, 32-bit, seems to have taken the old icon (the grey anti-clockwise rotating ring followed by the green clockwise rotating ring), put them onto a large wheel, and spun the wheel rapidly. I.e., the icons are there, but they appear to be
following a circular path and we get to see them as they pass underneath the aperture at the left corner of the tab. Very interesting, but a little disconcerting. Also, when I clicked on a bookmark folder's "Open all in Tabs" option, the timing between tabs made it look like the icon was hopping from tab to tab. Cute, but I started getting seasick watching it.</div><div>Altogether, 2 stars. Please put the old one back. Or the newer one. But this one is not so good.<br></div></div></body></html>
