This seems to happen in every GTK+ app I start, IIRC - mostly gedit and release Firefox when I'm on GNU/Linux. I've seen it back before I ditched Ubuntu, and then after, on Arch. Never seemed to cause a problem, but I have no idea if it was the same assertion that Basil's seeing.<br>
