For the past week I have not been able to use Nightly (nor the 28.0a1 version) because it simply will not start.<br>

The crash reports have gone to Mozilla days ago and "they" have replied but even as of today FF still aborts on start-up.<br>

When run from a terminal, FF aborts with the message, "(process:5191): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion 'sys_page_size == 0' failed".<br>

In all the years I have used Nightly such a failure has never happened - one glitch in FF in all these years is what I remember but never such a show stopper.<br>
