That is what I was told to do about 3 months ago when I had tab problems... now since I am in Save Mode it does not happen.  I have a Mac 10.7.5, everytime there is an upgrade on my computer the first thing that goes is my browsers, then the tabs... I slowly had to add back on some of my add ons but the only tab I use... and I USE ONE kind of tab that works with this browser "Custom Tab Width"  You can adjust the with of the tab to make it smaller, plus I have Colorful tabs so I can tell the difference between which one I can go back and forth with.  They both work with 18.0a1 and everytime there is an update with my browser there is an update for the tabs.<br>

Maybe this is related, but whenever I hover on the tab preview, and<br>
windows 7 tries to "show desktop", firefox crashes. I don't have to<br>
click. Does not occur under safe mode, but no addons cause this.<br>

Maybe its related to hardware acceleration?<br>
