Forgot to mention: setting gfx.direct2d.disabled to false in about:config should (in theory) fix your graphical issues.<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><br></font></span></blockquote><div class="h5"><br>
We have a winner! I have an nVidia.  Also, by default 10.0.2 is set to false, I just set that to true, and the behavior IMMEDIATELY has settled itself to normal.<br>

Those problems are not specific to your hardware, it's a known issue:<br>

Pasting the graphics section of about:support into that bug may help<br>
track it down. So far, everyone with issues in that bug has a NVidia<br>
graphics card.<br>
