Well, I bought a new system (the old system decided it didn't want to boot anymore).  Meanwhile, I'm still plagued by the same problem with the old system.  A change of SATA cables to make sure they haven't gone wonky on me.  And if that doesn't fix it, sounds like a new hard drive(s) for me, although I may format them first.  Or give Spinrite 6 a try.  SMART shows absolutely no issues with them.  Heh.<br>



<br>More to the point, I'm seeing the same issues with 10.0.2 as I was with 13a1.  Which may still be a video issue (driver or even internal to Windows itself), because I'm seeing similar behavior with IE 10!  Although Firefox seems to be less glitchy than IE, at least for me.  And file dialogs don't blow up for me either, not under 10.0.2. <br>



<br>But then, I'm on suspect hardware.  I really wish that something would just FAIL, and then I'd be able to fix it without driving myself nuts in the process, which is kind of where I'm at at this point.<br>
