I have never had any problems downloading the updates for Nightly.
I always go to About Nightly and it downloads and installs. If I do
it everyday, then I receive a smaller incremental update. If I wait
a couple of days, then I receive the full package update. One
different with me is I never wait for the automatic update, not sure
if it works with Nightly. I always go to About Nightly at least
once a day when running Nightly.<br>

issue has come up before, something about if Nightly had to
download the full update (as opposed to the partial update)
the update would fail, and the user would have to redownload

If this issue is similar to that, it might explain the two-day
thing.<br>

Nightly is supposed to update at any time
regardless of what day it is. <br>

Small updates happen every nightly build.
The full package is downloaded when you're
not up-to-date. My guess is that the
update system is broken for nightly
builds.
