It appears to have been placed on the back burner so to speak. When I restart my PC it takes upwords of 60 seconds at time for the latest nightly to open. The way I look at this, someone new to Firefox and was going to try Beta 3 or 4 for the first time and sw this, it would be their last experience with Firefox. I don't like to bring up other browsers but Opera 10.70's lastes re;eas opens in less than a 10th. of a second and not almost a minute. Now this long delay is only after a PC restart but I still see the gray/white folder looking image when restarting Minefield. I am running Windows 7 64 Bit with an Intel quad Q6700 @2.66 Ghx. with 8Gb of Ram , Geforce 9800GT 512mb . I don't know if this is D2D related or not but it should be fixed--soon.
