Hello all :-)
First post here, so please excuse any errors on my part :-)
Specs:
1. Windows Vista SP2 x86 en-US locale
2. Firefox Nightly version:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0
ID:20151207030210 CSet: 528ea05671e9bd9ccb33d1558a20691a72c85f98
3. e10s ON, with "dom.ipc.processCount;1"
4. Hardware acceleration unavailable,
due to old proprietary (non-updateable) gfx driver
As per the subject field, when I invoke "about:plugins"
by either typing it directly in the urlbar or by clicking the link
in the about:support page (right above about:buildconfig),
a white/empty tab loads... with, of course, no displayed info.
The last good m-c nightly build was the 20151130030228 one,
but do note that it was built from the same code as 20151129030359,
20151128030230 & 20151127030231 - for some reason,
builds from 27/11 to 30/11 were all built from the same source:
https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/47b49b0d3236
So:
First bad: 20151201030226
Last good: 20151130030228
Regression range:
https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=47b49b0d3236&tochange=66a6d7ec9534
This bug was also mentioned in passing
in a post in the Mozillazine Forums:
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=14424095#p14424095
> and about:plugins is a blank page.
but noone seems to have pursued this further...
The bug has not yet migrated to the aurora channel,
as in today's Dev Edition (20151207004009)
"about:plugins" works as expected; but with the
code merge day not far away, it'd be nice
if the bug was fixed prior to that...
Kind regards,
Vangelis.
