Hi all,

We're back July 9 with this month's Science Lab community call! The call kicks off at 11 ET. Dial in information can be found below.

This month, we'll be hearing some reports from leaders and organizers of the growing Mozilla Study Group program.
Study Groups are informal meetups of researchers interested in sharing
skills and working together to learn about open practices; groups have
spun up around the world to create co-working events, run programming
tutorials, discuss open data and more. Amy Lee, organizer for the Vancouver R Study Group, will be joining us to discuss how the R community in Vancouver has assembled at UBC, and Madeleine Bonsma, organizer for the University of Toronto Study Group, will describe the role of meetups within a university research community.

Also joining us this month is Bianca Kramer, from the 101 Innovations in Scholarly Communication project.
Bianca will be telling us about her team's ongoing work to chart how
research workflows are evolving in the presence of the growing number of
tools and services available today.

Have an update, blog post or event you’d like to share relevant to open science?
