More info on XAML and the "Avalon" subsystem here:

Longhorn hype has been engaged here (stictly, not hype but developer info...
but I like being mean!)

Perhaps promotion of XUL could ride the coat-tails of Avalon, by pointing
out that the same technology is already available, cross-platform, without
the risk of MS lock-in?  Or something.
