</span>Two use cases I can think of are:<br>
<br>
* Reducing memory usage (as only the page of the active tab will be<br>
loaded by default)<br>
* "Fixing" temporary bugs like display issues, aggressive browser caching, etc.<br>
<br>
In the past there were other smaller use cases like e.g. getting rid<br>
of the message to undo an addon removal.<br>
