Activity Stream is implemented in JS, and uses the React (<a href="https://facebook.github.io/react/" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://facebook.github.io/<wbr>react/</a>) UI library. The add-on reports UI telemetry pings back to Mozilla servers using ping-centre (<a href="https://github.com/mozilla/ping-centre" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://github.com/mozilla/<wbr>ping-centre</a>). There is a brief overview of it’s architecture on our Github page (<a href="https://github.com/mozilla/activity-stream/wiki" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://github.com/mozilla/<wbr>activity-stream/wiki</a>).<br></blockquote><div><br></div><div>Have there been projections of what storage costs we will have for sending the current ActivityStream Telemetry from the whole beta and release population?<br></div><div>And whether the ping-centre setup scales to that volume?<br></div><div>And how that affects users?<br></div><div>I recall the volume of pings that ActivityStream sends as rather high.<br><br></div></div>Is it still planned to migrate this instrumentation to our existing Telemetry API before releasing it as a system addon?<br><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">Georg<br></div></div>
