me first provide a few clarifications for the purpose of this
report: its current form is meant to provide a simple (bare-bones,
if you wish) list of <i>all</i> <i>the bugs</i> that were filed
<i>by our team </i><i>only</i> -- this includes new, assigned,
resolved fixed, verified fixed and reopened bugs and it excludes
wfm, dupe, invalid and wontfix bugs. This is what we've agreed on
with Release Management when we initially discussed what is and
isn't in the scope of this report.<br>

We pay special attention to the accuracy of this data and although
we do our best to minimize errors, we can certainly agree that we
sometimes make mistakes when compiling the list of bugs (incorrect
status or missing assignee, to name a few). Most of the times
though, these bugs happen to be updated <i>after</i> we send out
the report, resulting in discrepancies very similar to what you
mentioned.</font><br>

your reports clarified cases like this from cases that are
genuine regressions on the release/channel they're discovered
