<p>There's been a bug, one many would consider an important one, untouched for some time. That is the bug where Firefox for Mobile's update feature doesn't work. I just confirmed last week when 48 -> 49 did not come when I asked Firefox to check (convoluted

 through Menu -> Settings -> Mozilla Firefox -> About Firefox -> Check for Updates). It's supposed to check for updates. It says it does. But it doesn't find them.</p>

<p>I currently update through F-Droid, which is soon to be dropping Firefox from their repositories.</p>

<p>Is there any way to get some advocacy for this bug?</p>
