make a couple of points:<br>
<br>
- we are restricting the use of MSE only while the feature is in<br>
active development. The restriction will eventually be lifted<br>
- the restriction is useful because MSE support is complex, so<br>
restricting its use to a partner that we can work with closely reduces<br>
the overall risk to users in the short term, and lets us get the<br>
overall feature built and tested more quickly<br>
- it is not true that "good enough for youtube is good enough for<br>
everyone else", in general, because of the aforementioned complexity<br>
and compatibility issues - we are working on getting there, but it<br>
requires a lot of effort<br>
