      since there is no context of the surrounding ui.  Having said
      that, my first impulse is that it will suffer the too many choices
      problem as well as not representing new (potentially different
      contexts) types of permissions.  <br>

      I tend to agree with Gerv, there should be an overly simplistic
      top level "I trust [social network name] to do something wrong but
      let them do it anyway" setting with a way to dig into more
      detailed settings if I care to.<br>

      To bad websites don't have a manifest where they define the
      permissions they need...<br>

                  really hard to tell and<br>
                  depends on the user's preferences with regards to
                  privacy, battery<br>
                  life, potential nuisances, etc. The "install" model
                  from native is<br>
                  attractive, but does not put the user in control of
                  the experience and<br>
                  is not something we should offer therefore, I think.<br>
                  <br>
                  Perhaps once we have rationalized this all a bit more
                  we can start<br>
                  experimenting with grouping certain similar
                  permissions, but for now<br>
                  focusing on improving the basic UI around them would
                  be a good start.<br>
