Hi firefox-dev,

It's time for the bi-weekly iteration update post!

For
iteration 33.1, the first of our Firefox 33 development cycle, the
Firefox team will be kicking off a new project: supporting the
requestAutocomplete API for form filling. We're working with Brian
Nicholson from the Android team, who's done a lot of work building a
core pieces of the API.

In addition to the requestAutocomplete
work, we'll be finishing off the last pieces of the translation project
before launching a trial for German users on Aurora during the 32 cycle.

Finally,
we'll use this iteration to come up with a plan to further address
search hijacking and improve the search experience overall, including
doing some further work on an improved "unified" autocomplete API to
support new search-related location bar features.

Gavin
