Indeed, I'd expect this to be addon territory in general, unless
there was a magic solution. I was as much asking about prior art or
addons which already solve this problem before I started writing
one.<br>

I may not be visiting these frequently. Primarily I use bookmarks to
manually "bump" thing which I know I'm not going to visit frequently
and so the normal urlbar behavior isn't sufficient.<br>

Also, having the icon in the urlbar results is valuable to me.<br>

The only reason I would ever manually delete a bookmark is when it
was showing up on urlbar results and I wish that it weren't. Adding
a way to easily unstar something from the urlbar might be really
useful for me.<br>
